If you have a Hawaiian vacation in your plans I suggest you check out the North Shore of Oahu. With some of the most beautiful beaches you'll ever see, most of the surfing that you see on tv is performed in this part of the country. If your a surfer yourself there is plenty of room for you to do your thing. What I liked most about this part of Oahu was the laid back and relaxed feeling you got just being there.
People here are not in to much of a hurry to do things, they stay at a steady pace and thats alright with me. Most of the tourist that come to Oahu usually stay down in Honolulu around Waikiki beach so this gives you a chance to get away from the rat race.
Another exciting place to visit on the North Shore is the Polynesian Cultural Center. Plan on staying the day. There are so many shows and things to see you usually will not see it all. Towards evening you have a few dinner choices then the big show begins, and they put on a fabulous show.
Do you know that all the people that work or perform there are from the college next door which is BYU? The kids that attend BYU work there and their schooling is paid for. Another thing you maybe did not know is the Cultural Center is owned by the Mormons. This is a must see if your on the North Shore of Oahu.
So if your looking for that relaxing, fun, sun and sand vacation than the North shore of Oahu just may be the right vacation for you.
