Golden State Warriors coach Steve Kerr has traveled with the team to San Antonio and will watch Game 3 agains the Spurs tonight in the locker room, a team official told ESPN.
It’s a clear sign that he’s doing much better.
This is the first time Kerr has hit the road with the team since taking a leave of absence in the middle of the opening round to find a remedy for the nausea and migraines he’s been experiencing that stems from back surgery from almost two years ago. Over the last week, he has been attending home games and practices and has progressively become more active in sessions.
Kerr will be in the locker room with the team at halftime, ESPN is told. Whether he addresses the team or not is up to him.
The Warriors maintain that they don’t know when or if Kerr will return to the sidelines during the postseason.
